Gilbert U-Haul
Gilbert, Arizona

The Gilbert Arizona U-Haul Project is the Flagship Facility for the Arizona based owner: Americo. The location of this extremely high profile project is a short drive from the U-Haul Corporate Offices in Phoenix and abutting a 300-unit Apartment complex. The 2-story, 47,000 sf building was constructed in an operating U-Haul facility which necessitated keeping all drive areas and utilities functional during construction. Due to the extreme Arizona summer heat, special attention was paid to keeping the site and workers well hydrated. To accomplish this, SEA CON LLC  typically started work at 5am with the large concrete pours beginning at 3am. The project included concrete tilts with stucco and metal exteriors, a butler standing seam roof system and a substantial drainage system with state registered dry wells.
