Safety at Sea Con

Our commitment to safety is reflected in our exemplary safety record:

  • 5 years with zero lost workdays due to accidents, injuries, or illnesses (OSHA 200 Logs).
  • Ongoing development and maintenance of a comprehensive safety program that ensures the highest safety standards.

Safety training at SEA CON LLC goes beyond the basics:

  • CPR/First Aid Certification for all employees, including administrative staff.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification and 24-Hour HAZWOPER Course for superintendents and project managers.
  • Mandatory certification in fall protection, confined space, and hazard communication for project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
  • 100% company-funded safety seminars and workshops to keep our team well-trained and prepared.

Our safety program is guided by a comprehensive written plan, including:

  • Safety & Accident Prevention Manual
  • MSDS Manuals
  • Job-Specific Safety & Accident Program
  • Site-Specific Injury Packet
  • WISHA Jobsite Organizer

These documents exceed OSHA and WISHA requirements and are constantly updated to ensure effectiveness. Each employee is assigned a complete set and is responsible for maintaining it.

SEA CON LLC is proud to be recognized for our safety excellence:

  • 4 consecutive years of ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) S.T.E.P. Platinum Level Safety Awards.
  • ABC National Safety Award recipient in 2001.

At SEA CON LLC, safety is a top priority. Management is fully committed to providing safe workplaces and job sites by investing in proper training, awareness, and accident prevention. Over the past three years, we have funded over 2,000 hours of safety-related classes and provide 100% of personal protective equipment (PPE) for our employees. Damaged or non-compliant equipment is immediately replaced or repaired. We believe that every dollar spent on safety is a dollar well spent—not only to prevent injuries but also to protect equipment and maintain efficient operations.
