Project in Progress: Ballard Self-Storage

This self-storage facility in Seattle is getting a new design featuring the ELEVATE framing system, a high-performance system designed for storage facilities. The scope includes 100,000 square feet and four stories of new construction, featuring combined masonry and steel. The project is slated to be completed in March of 2025. As of November 2024, we’re on track!

What’s Next?

Our next step is the completion of the roof. After that’s installed, we can finish the interiors, and then the facility will be ready to open. One of our specialities here at Sea Con is working quickly and efficiently which results in projects completed at or ahead of schedule.

While one project may not seem like a big deal, storage facilities are actually a much-needed resource in this area. As the city of Seattle becomes more densely populated, it’s vital that storage is available. While storage facilities may not seem like vital infrastructure, they play an important role in building out the community.
